Terms and Conditions

Miromiro Group Limited trading as Dragon Rider Tours

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings with Dragon Rider Tours (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or participating in a UTV (buggy) tour with us, you (“you”, “the customer”, “the participant”) agree to the following:

1. Bookings & Payments

All tours must be booked in advance through our website or authorised agents. Full payment (or a deposit if offered) is required to secure your booking. Prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Customer cancellations:

More than 7 days before the tour: full refund.

3–7 days before the tour: 50% refund.

Less than 48 hours or no-show: no refund.

Operator cancellations:

If we cancel due to weather, safety, or operational reasons, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook.

We are not responsible for additional costs (e.g. picnic food, transport).

3. Health, Safety & Participation

Our tours are operated in accordance with New Zealand health and safety legislation and industry standards.

UTV tours involve outdoor activities with inherent risks including terrain hazards, weather changes, equipment risks, and the actions of other participants.

You must:

-Participate in the safety and operations briefing before starting of your tour.

-Follow all safety instructions given by our guide.

-Wear provided helmets, goggles at all times.

-Have fully enclosed footwear at all times while driving.

-Remove all loose items such as scarves, key chains, etc. prior to driving.

-Not to approach farm animals.

-Not to touch electric fences.

-Not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that may impair your ability.

Minimum age and weight limits apply. Drivers must be a minimum of 18 years of age with passengers 12 years or older. Drivers must hold a full driver’s licence.

The tracks we are riding on are shareable, you must be careful of walkers and animal stock if any, especially around blind corners.

The speed limit is 30km/h. Deliberate excessive speed or reckless driving will result in your tour being terminated.

We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe you are unfit, unsafe, or fail to comply with instructions.

4. Liability Waiver

By joining a Dragon Rider Tours activity, you acknowledge and agree that:

-Participation is at your own risk.

-Miromiro Group Limited, its director, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from participation, except where required by New Zealand law.

5. Insurance

We recommend you hold personal health or travel insurance.

6. Privacy

Personal information you provide will be used only for booking, safety, and operational purposes.

Photos or videos taken during tours may be used for marketing unless you request otherwise.

7. Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
